Nigerian Players Shortlisted For 2019 African Player Of The Year Award

Nigerian popular football superstars, Wilfred Ndidi, Odion Ighalo and Victor Osihmen have been nominated for the 2019 African Player of the Year Award.

Three Nigerian stars that played for Lecister City, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and Lille respectively, were shortlised alongside 27 African footballers including the previous winner, Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Liverpool for the award.

Ndidi, Ighalo, and Osimhen shortlisted in 30-man list for 2019 African Player of the Year Award

For the CAF Youth Player of the Year 2019 nominees, Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze and striker Victor Osimhen also joined the shortlist.
