Man Utd take decision on sacking Solskjaer after 4-2 defeat to Leicester
Manchester United have taken a decision to stick with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager, despite their 4-2 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.
According to The Athletic, “Solskjaer’s position is 100% secured as things stand”.
It is understood the 48-year-old retains the support of United’s board.
Solskjaer only just signed a new contract that ties him to the club until 2024 with the option of one more year
However, United have started the campaign on a poor note. If Liverpool inflict defeat on them at Old Trafford next week, they will move seven points clear of their rivals.
So far, United have lost two of their eight league games and won half of them.
They currently sit in fifth place with 14 points.
