No More Open Grazing In Bayelsa State – Governor Diri Warns
The Bayelsa State Governor Diri Has openly come out to warn anyone who is Grazing anywhere around the state. He made his known in his statement
As a statement was giving by the Bayelsa Governor, Diri
“From the commencement of this law, no person shall breed, rear or trade in livestock in the State in any other place than as maybe designated by the committee and approved by the State Government. No individual or group shall after the commencement of this law as I have signed it today engage in open nomadic livestock grazing in the State of Bayelsa.
Movement of livestock on foot from any part of the country, or state to Bayelsa State is hereby prohibited. Such movements should only be by truck or pickup wagons.”
